Albany GA | A Symphony to Remember

When we moved from the Atlanta area to Albany ten years ago, so many people asked if we missed everything the big city offers...and the answer has always been an emphatic NO. Yes, there are many fun things that a big city like Atlanta has to offer, but honestly, our smaller city here in south GA offers many of the same amenities! I have always been amazed that right here in Albany we have an art museum, aquarium, civil rights museum, science museum/planetarium AND our very own symphony.

For the past several years I have had the honor of photographing the Albany Symphony. If you have never experienced the beauty of a live orchestra, I encourage you to check it out. It is totally different to hear it live in a concert hall. On December 6th, the 31st annual Peppermint Pops concert will be the perfect opportunity to support the symphony and enjoy a fun holiday outing. I hear a certain "mean green guy" might even make an appearance!

Tickets on sale now at www.albanysymphony.org! I hope you will join me for this very special holiday event.
